More than 750 professionals gathered in Austin for Education Open Source 2010 to experience new content and features including a 250 pound, 22 foot steel rocket standing in tribute to the practical nature of hands-on instruction. In a voice of support, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Susan Combs challenged participants to expand CTE programs from high school to college to the workplace and place a higher value on working with your head and your hands.
